To book T.E. Watson for your Event, Author's Day at Your School, Seminar, Conference, Celebration, Festival, or other great literary fun thing to do,please refer to the following information.
So how do we book T. E. Watson for our school or event?

Just because...
Award Winning Children's Author T.E. Watson's energetic and positive personality continues
to contribute to his popularity, as well as his commitment to children, books, and the importance
of reading and writing in education... the fact that he is Scottish doesn't hurt either.
(His accent is a wonderful addition to his presentations and stories!) And sometimes shows
up in kilt and sword...

Never Fear!
He likes people! T.E. puts his pants on one leg at a time (when he is not wearing his kilt).
He understands what children enjoy, and what parents ,and teachers are asking for when it
comes to classroom activities. (they are the same the world over, ask him about his world travels).
T.E.'s second favorite thing to do is talking with everyday folks. His first is writing!

T.E. specializes in classroom visits, assemblies, and in-service teacher/staff workshops.
Being a retired school teacher he knows the ropes. He is also available are festival appearances,
speaking at seminars and special events, and other literary functions.
Ask him yourself, he actually answers emails and the phone when he is available.

T.E. Watson's energy for creating, and building enthusiasm for reading and writing
in the classroom and at home, inspires everyone who hears and meets him to read and write!

Promotional and educational materials will be provided as requested.
We ask that booking requests be made at least three months in advance. If T.E.is unable to
accommodate your date, he will contact you as soon as he knows when he can appear.
T.E.has become somewhat of an overnight hit, so his time is in great demand.
Bookings are on a first come basis. He always tries his very best to accomadate your event but
because of time and scheduling, that is not always possible.

So book as far in advance as you can. Three Months minimum is requested.
After a confirmation is agreed upon, T.E.'s appearance at your school, suggested guidelines,
a contract, and requirement list will be sent straight away.

Please supply T.E. with your contact information so the documents can be expedited

Schedule of Fees

T.E. Watson's fee is based on distance
It starts at his base fee of $500 for an entire day and then goes up inscale according to
the distance he must travel. All apperance fees are negotiable within reason.

There is a minimum of $500.00.
So you have a range of $500.00 - $1,700.00

In these times of educational budget cut backs and what seems to be eternal financial problems,
T.E. Watson has given consideration to this factor. He knows there are schools and organizations that
can afford this fee, but he also knows and realizes there are those that cannot afford a fee of that size,
but would really like to have an Author come and speak to their school or group.
So he says everything is negotiable! But don't try to convince him the price is too high. remember he is a Scot! He is willing to haggle.

He does not want to discourage any group ,school, or organization. He will listen to all comers.

Why the funny-looking email addresses?
The email addresses on the site (like comments {at} mysite {dot} com) aren’t clickable, and they look weird because
spambots (software looking to harvest email addresses to send spam to) harvest regular email links, and we hate getting spam.
Fortunately, as a human you can just read the address out and type it as if the funny squiggly-bracket stuff weren’t there,
and you’ll have a regular, normal email address that gets straight to us.

Email One- tew {at} tewatsononline {dot} com

Email Two- authorgigs {at} tewatsononline {dot} com

Email Three- pawprints {at} pawprintspress {dot} com

All fees in this schedule are negotiable to a point.

T.E. understands that not all districts have great budgets.
There is a minimum fee of $500 dollars to start for a half days (3 classes)activity.
He is always willing to discuss your event budget
