Let's see, my name is T.E. Watson FSA Scot.
The T E is something I got stuck with when I was a small boy. The FSA Scot is a Title I recieved from The Royal National Musuem Of Scotland in Edinburgh.
(Don't ever get your sister mad at you. Things like nicknames tend to stick with you, as you get older.)

The FSA Scot is a Title I received from the Society of Scottish Antiquaries. This title is awarded through the Royal National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh. There are only 3500 elected members in the entire world. This was presented to me for my historical research in the field of Children's Authors and Writers of the UK, with a focus on Robert Louis Stevenson.

The fine looking example of Catdom in the photo next door here was my 14-year-old lady named Little. She has a particularly wonderful story herself. She is a survivor after a ton of adversity and sickness. She was my long time friend and I was her long time human.
Needless to say she is still very special. We were together for a long time.
I helped her come into this world. Unfortunately we lost her to pancreatic cancer in 2003.
She will always be very special. I miss her very much.
You do that with good friends. She was the best cat I have ever known.
As are all the animal members of the family.
Little and the other 3 cohorts are characters in another book (their names were changed to protect their privacy).

The book has been recently released and has met with acclaim unsurpassed by any
other of its kind or genre.
"The Man Who Spoke With Cats". It is based upon a Scottish Tale told to me by my Gran.
It was released this August and is available for purchase as we speak.
It is one of the most emotionally charged stories I have ever written. It is heart warming.
The reader will feel Macgregor’s worry as much as he does.
The story really touched my editor.

Every person who appreciates cats should get a copy of this book!

I was raised in northern California off and on for most of my boyhood. Having attended some outstanding elementary schools then,
I had some of my best teachers while attending those schools. This is where I learned the basis of writing, and this is where
I received my first writing award "California State Young Peoples Writing Award".
Later on I went on to find the real beginnings of my writing future where I then got into Journalism, Radio and Television studies.
In 1974 I won, quite to my surprise, "The UPI Young Journalists Award for Sports Writing and Reporting" pretty good for just being 17.

That cinched it for me I was going to write or teach writing or whatever I could that had to do with writing. I enjoyed it!
I wrote everyday.Even if it was junk ,and much of it was at that time. Nevertheless I wrote.
I thought about what I really wanted and went back to my first love, Writing!
Taking more courses in Journalism Radio and Tele, I received an AA degree for Journalism , and then pursued my full fledged
degree in English.
I received a BA. Then one of my instructors asked me "why don't you try teaching?" I liked it a lot! It was not easy, but it was fun
and satisfying.
Among all this goings ons time went by like it always does and I discovered I wanted to write,or at least try to write my first story that might be good enough to be a book.
It was about 2 whales and was entitled " White Wings and Black Sail" I wrote it under another name, Tom Kelly.
I thought it would be very author like to have a pseudonym.
It did not work. The book was good, but I dropped the name.

All right let's see what is what so special about T.E.Watson. FSA Scot.
Born a young child long ago into a very loving family filled with very firm rules which were a help, and seldom a hindrance.
My DNA hails from the beautiful city of Elgin, Scotland, about 40 miles east of Inverness Scotland.

Which is surrounded with a multitude of historic Scottish landmarks. All of them a short few minutes drive from each other. Wonderful Castles, the famous Loch Ness,The Battlefield of Culloden Moor, the Clava Cairns, the beautiful Black Isle and the Groam Museum, the Faery Glen (A great place to write by the way),and just a short drive to the stronghold of Fort George. All of these sites are located along the Moray Firth( pronounced Murray Firth).
Just look at a map of Scotland. Although just a few miles from each other ,you will want to make sure you reserve enough time to see it all. At least a few days. You will not want to miss any of it. So much for the travel log.

Many years passed and other things took my life journey in other directions. Full time reporter, radio disc jockey, some announcing voice over work.
I even got an assignment as a wildlife photographer. Since that time I have written over 300 articles(various topics) some 115 story books and reported for several newspapers.
The perfect writers life.Having traveled all over Europe and the UK I have gathered all sorts of material for new stories.

Now I work entirely in my writing. I am presently making appearances for schools, special events and seminars/conferences , book signings and readings at book stores throughout the country to promote my popular children's books. And somewhere in between I write more and more.

My newest books are The Man Who Spoke With Cats and Glen Robbie A Scottish Faery Tale.
The phenomenal reviews these books are getting have been wonderful. You can click here to read a few.

That's it for now. As the song says "Who knows what tomorrow may bring!"

If reading is a journey for the imagination, then surely writing is the vehicle to guide the way."
